This townhouse is located within the West Village, and is part of the historically preserved landmark district. studioMDA preserved the identity of the existing facade of the townhouse and created a clean and spacious interior with a top to bottom gut renovation. This townhouse provides 4 bedrooms, offices, a den, a garage, living room, kitchen, mezzanine, and a terrace on the front and rear. The original facade of the townhouse provides horse windows, allowing a generous amount of daylight to enter the space. studioMDA expanded the existing townhouse from a three-story building to a five-story building, with the addition of a 4th floor penthouse and a cellar that houses a pool, a gym, storage and a wine cellar. A gracious skylight illuminates the space from the terrace down to the first floor.
