SUR LAGO RESIDENCE

Sur Lago is a 9,100-square-foot private lakefront residence originally constructed in 1895 and rebuilt in the 1920s. In 2014, studioMDA completed a comprehensive renovation of the property, preserving its historic character while reimagining the residence for contemporary living.

The first floor is organized around a marble foyer overlooking the lake and includes a grand living room, wood-paneled library, formal dining room, and kitchen. The second floor accommodates six bedrooms and five bathrooms, while the uppermost level is dedicated to a great room and fully equipped studio space.

The common rooms open directly onto a lakefront terrace, strengthening the relationship between the interiors and the waterfront setting. From the terrace, the residence connects to a loft-like guest suite located at lake level.
