STOCKHOLM PENTHOUSE

Located in central Stockholm, this 500-square-meter penthouse was extensively renovated by studioMDA to transform an outdated apartment into an open, contemporary residence tailored to the client’s spatial and living needs.

Most of the existing layout was removed and reorganized to create a more open plan and fluid circulation throughout the home. A slender floor-to-ceiling wall subtly defines the primary living spaces while maintaining a sense of openness and connection between them.

A continuous row of skylights was introduced along the living room ceiling, bringing natural light deep into the space and enhancing its sense of openness and volume. The completed residence includes three bedrooms, a living room, dining room, kitchen, gym, and two balconies.
